David Williams

I have always been fascinated by how the unseen world around us affects our lives, from the movement of planets to the growth of bacteria. In terms of human health I am interested in how microbial life interacts with our immune systems to promote health and in states of disease. After graduating with my bachelors degree I took the opportunity to work in a range of laboratories focusing on virology and Immunology, to further my understanding of host pathogen interactions. In my spare time I enjoy working with electronics and studying new languages. With an extended family stretched out across many states and countries I also look for the opportunity to travel whenever possible.
